A spectacular 31-song setlist for the second night in Paris with Bruce taking the concept of a varied set on night two and blowing it out of the water. A six-pack of classics (including the second "Something In The Night" of the tour) kick-off the show before we even get to the the usual opener "We Take Care Of Our Own". This wasn't the plan - the setlist shows "The Ties That Bind" going straight into 'We Take Care'. Both "Incident On 57th Street" and an extended 11-minute "Racing In The Street" are played - the last time that both songs were played at an E Street show was back in 1978. Also in the set: "I'm Goin' Down", "Easy Money" and the tour premiere of "For You", played solo on the piano. The walk-on music is "Au clair de la lune", played by the accordion duo of Roy and Charlie. Thanks to Francois for the info.

Next to the Apollo, this is the best I have heard. Any better?

Maybe. I have most of them but have not compared them all. I think this is the best of the Paris #2s. I think the Paris Night 1 by Zimmy has a little better sound but the setlist is not as good. This is the best setlist of the tour to date. Even though we have to suffer through 2 Hts & Ties, which I can't understand the appeal of, we get Downbound Train, by far the best song on BITUSA, plus Incident, plus I'm Goin' Down plus Racing.

Frankie if I could drop 1 song from his setlist it would be Waiting On A Sunny Day. I will get Paris Night 1. If you have any other recommendations let me know sound being a priority. Thanks

Actually I think "The Italian Promise" Milan June 7 by Godfather Records has the best sound. Very clear vocals, good instruments, not too much crowd noise. I downloaded it from the Jungleland Torrent site.
