Opening night of the tour, and debuts of eight songs from Born In The U.S.A. and five from Nebraska. “No Surrender” is one of two full band arrangement versions played on the tour and features a rewritten last verse. This verse is played on all versions of this song during the tour. "Dancing In The Dark" is played twice for the video shoot, directed by Brian De Palma. Pulled out of the audience during the shoot to dance with Bruce is actress Courteney Cox, later to become a household name as Monica in Friends. Cox is reported to have been paid $350 for her efforts. Debut performance of "Street Fighting Man". Released on CD "Street Fighting Man" (RTC). Thanks to Per for info. Collectors should note a new source audience tape has recently been released into the collecting community available as CDR 'Opening Night Of The Born In The U.S.A. Tour' (Uber Series, Ev2).
