1 D3 Tracks 6-9: Soundcheck before the show 2 Some audio crackling / fluctuations in the end of D1 Track10 + Ev2 Notes: Source: some über > ABMS || Thanks to tattoodad for making the über's share these. + Backstreets Notes: Welcome back, CC! The band's return to their fall schedule, with Clarence Clemons back in action only a week after surgery, is Cincinnati's first general admission show in nearly 23 years. It's also notable for an ongoing boycott effort in Cincy-- not by those opposing the G.A. plan, but by civil rights activists protesting police brutality. Springsteen opens with "American Skin" for the first time. Also in the set: a full-band "Does This Bus Stop," and, by request from a sign-holder, "I'm a Rocker." + Brucebase (12.11.2002): Audience tape, IEM and great quality DVD "Cincinnati Lights" (CTC). A version of the DVD dubbed with the IEM also circulates. Bruce opens the show with a short speech and "American Skin (41 Shots)", the first show of the tour not to open with "The Rising," which was played immediately following "American Skin (41 Shots)". Other highlights in the set included "Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?", as well as a solo piano version of "My Hometown." "I'm a Rocker" also appeared in the encores in the slot preceding "Born to Run." The first show in Cincinnati to have festival seating since eleven people were trampled to death at a Who concert in 1979. The show has been released on a great IEM - Audience mix "Let The Begging Commence" (Ev2), which also includes the soundcheck tracks. |

This is an amazing sounding show, right up there with 10-23-99 Prodigal Son In The City Of Angels...
