| Bruce's fourth appearance at the famous San Siro and he produces an incredible 33-song set that clocks in at over three-and-a-half hours. This magical night in Milan became one of the longest shows Bruce has ever done, only the New Years Eve show in 1980 at Nassau Coliseum, the final night of the Born In The U.S.A. Tour in Los Angeles and the Concert To Fight Hunger in 1993 can be confirmed as longer. Others (such as December 29, 1980) could well have been longer, but edited tapes makes it difficult to be certain. The band enter the stage to the theme song from Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In The West. Four tracks from Born In The U.S.A. feature in the ten-song encore. "The Promise" is played by Bruce alone at the piano. A fan holds up a request to dance with Jake Clemons, and is allowed to do so during "Dancing in the Dark". Patti Scialfa is not present. | | | The Italian Promise: Milan, June 7, 2012 THE GODFATHERECORDS – # G.R. 761/762/763 07.06.2012 - Stadio San Siro, Milan, ITALY | | Disc 1 | 01.
